About The Service
SETC have introduced new fleet on its existing service from Ernakulam to Chennai from Ultra Deluxe Non AC coach to Air Conditioned Seater Cum Sleeper service.
The new fleet service timing have changed from 3.30 pm to 2.30 pm due to traffic congestion in Ernakulam to Palakkad stretch. The schedule for Thrissur is changed to 4.30 pm instead of 5.30 pm.

The Palakkad timing is changed to 5.30 pm instead of 7 pm and timing at Coimbatore is moved to 7pm from 8.30 pm.
The new fleet timings could help fleet to operate and reach Chennai by 6.30 am.
The contribution of passengers depending upon the service is lower compared with dependency of private contract carriages in the route.
The schedule is premium service operated the state owned transport department.
