State Express Transport Corporation ( SETC ) have launched bus service from Chennai to Salem on daily basis with bio toilet facility. The schedules are operated by Classic Class Of Service on daily basis and buses are inducted with latest fleet addition. Apart from bio toilet, schedule have additional benefits of mobile charging ports, reading lamp, pushback seats, watter bottle holder, night lamp, tilting windows, water bottle holder and reading paper holder.
SETC operates 7 services from Chennai to Salem on daily basis with bio toilet facility, please find below the timings.

- 10.35 pm
The passengers can book the schedule online by visiting the official website www.tnstc.in or third party apps.
The journey covered by schedule is 341 kilometers in 8 hours and 30 minutes, the route number designated for the service is 422 classic. The distance and time taken may vary due to traffic and road conditions enroute the destination.
The fare per passenger is fixed at Rs.393 per seat excluding the reservation charges.
