SETC, the state owned bus transport organization of Tamilnadu Government had announced the launch of new bus service from Tiruchendur Lord Murugan Temple to Guruvayoor Lord Krishna Temple. The bus service is a blessing to the pilgrims, the bus service is a interstate bus service between Tamilnadu and Kerala. Guruvayoor Temple is located in Thrissur district of Kerala.
The bus service will depart from Tiruchendur at 5:30 pm and arrive in Guruvayur next day morning 5:30 am. The bus service enters bus stations enroute Tuticorin otherwise known as Thoothukudi at 6:45 pm, Madurai Mattuthavani Bus Stand at 10:00 pm, Madurai Arapalayam Bus Stand at 10:20 pm, Palakkad Bus Stand at 3:00 am, Thrissur Bus Stand at 4:30 am.
The bus service can be booked online via www.tnstc.in, the fare for the service is fixed at rupees 615 excluding reservation charges. The total distance covered by the bus service is 600 kilometers in 12 hours. The time and distance may vary depending upon the road conditions enroute the destination.
