1st June 2020 is the day when lockdown 5.0 in place and lockdown is unlocked in stage by stage basis, as of the first stage of lockdown 5.0 the public transportation service in Tamilnadu is operational from 6 am to 9 pm till further notice.
As per the initial reports in some places the social distancing norms are not in place creating opportunity for wide spread of Corona Virus among the passengers, this can create danger for TNSTC Officials leading to Jeopardy.
We humbly request the passengers wishing to have safe journey to maintain social distancing and wear masks, passengers can come forward and form a queue for entering the bus with a gap as recommended by Ministry of Health India.
TNSTC Officials are struggling to maintain the ground and make social distancing in Place, Passengers are required to think about their health and well being crew in the bus.
As per the guidelines shared by Honorable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, The department of transportation will operate buses in 8 Zones as shared in GO with passes mandatory to travel between the zones. 50% buses will be operational from 1st June ’20 accommodating 60% passenger rather than 100%.
As per the guidelines, there is no increase of bus charges for accommodating only 60% passengers.
