As everyone read it, it’s true that 4 districts and Capital of Chennai is going into complete lockdown mode. Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu have announced the lockdown from 19th June 20 to 30th June 20, after discussion with health officials. The major reason of lockdown is due to increase in reports of COVID19 affected persons. The state will observe complete on 2 Sundays.
The order for lockdown have come into place as per National Disaster Management Act of 2005, the lockdown will start from midnight of 19th June for 12 days till 30th June 20.
Here is the list of shops and services will be available during lockdown.
Weekdays excluding Sundays.
- Grocery Shops
- Mobile Market
- Petrol Station
- Vegetable Shops
The above shops will be operational from 6 am to 2pm, excluding 2 Sundays.
Other Services such as
- Cab / Taxis
- Auto
- Buses Public Transportation
will not be operational during the lockdown. Unless there is a medical emergency.
- Hospitals can be operated
- Medical Shops can be operated
- Banks will be operational only on 29th June 20 and 30th June 20 with 30% manpower. ( ATM will function normal)
- Essential services of State Government will work at 33% capacity.
- Amma Unnavagam will function as usually.
