SETC have launched new bus service from Bengaluru to Velankanni via Pattukottai. Now Passengers from Bengaluru can also book tickets to Pattukottai in the bus schedule.
The schedule is route numbered as 864P and passengers are requested book based upon route number as there are route numbers at 864.
The bus is scheduled to depart everyday at 6:15 pm and reaches Pattukottai at early morning 4:45 am next day, The passengers to Pattukottai are charged Rs.620 per passenger (adult) excluding the reservation charges applicable.
The bus service can be booked online in advance with www.tnstc.in and SETC computerised ticket booking centre.
The bus utilized for the service is a Non AC variant Coach made in Ashok Leyland Chassis. The bus have salient features such as Pushback seats and Air Suspension chassis for extra comfort.
