TNSTC ( Tamilnadu State Road Transport Corporation ) have restarted operations effective 1st Jun 20 for public passengers. The buses operated by TNSTC are operated with 60% capacity and 50% of the fleets were present in roads.
TNSTC officials follow the strict policy for following SOP for betterment of passengers commuting in buses. The passengers are screened by officials deployed to monitor the transit.
In above image you can find a official screening a passenger before entering into bus. TNSTC have resumed the bus services in 8 zones in Tamilnadu.
At present the interstate services of TNSTC as well as complete operation of SETC and Chennai MTC is not operational.
At present the bus services are operational from 6 am to 9pm as per the guidelines received from Ministry of Home Affairs. There will be no public transportation from 9pm to 6am.
